The Road Cases have been playing Blues with their own groove and feel for more than a decade in various blues & music bars. At the core of the band is a father and son team that not only shares DNA but a true love & dedication to the Soulful Rocking Blues music that drives the band.
The Road Cases bring a seasoned sound that draws on American roots music, electric sounds, soulful storytelling, and infectious grooves.

Bob Halperin has been a presence in the Seacoast music scene for over 30 years. Initially known for his virtuosic solo blues finger-picking and slide guitar performances, he has also established himself as a sought-after sideman and as a member of the roots/Americana band Wooden Eye and of the band for the gospel choir, Rock My Soul. He has taught guitar at Gary’s Guitars in Portsmouth and at The Music Emporium in Lexington, MA and presently teaches remotely from home.

Jake has been steeped in the blues since his early teenage years and has performed at many of New England's blues & music bars over his two decades as a drummer. His refined sound comes from work experience across many genres including a heavy jazz influence during his formal studies.
